Pre-season Training Well Underway

Yesterday saw the first two weeks of pre-season training at Canal Park, Banff being completed in fine weather under the direction of Manager Craig Stewart and his Assistant Craig Park. The squad is having three sessions each week, leading up to the first of the pre-season friendlies away to junior side Buchanhaven Hearts next Saturday, 2nd July, at Raemoss Park, Raemoss Road, Peterhead, AB42 1BP. Kick-off is at 2pm.

A number of other friendlies have been arranged and the following week sees two home friendly matches at Princess Royal Park. The first is against local junior side Deveronside, on Tuesday 2nd July with kick off 7.30pm. and the second is on Saturday 9th July against Bridge of Don Thistle at 2pm. Our other friendly matches will be announced soon.

The new signings we have announced over the past week have been attending pre-season and we will be announcing further signings over the next 7-10 days. We’re also delighted to welcome back Harry Noble who is continuing his recovery from the ACL operation he had in 2021. Well done Harry for sticking with the rehabilitation programme. Not an easy task.

A couple of players have moved on from Deveronvale and we thank them for their contributions to Deveronvale during their time at PRP. Kyle Willox is moving to Banks o’ Dee and Sam Robertson to Bridge of Don Thistle. Although both clubs have pre-announced these signings, they don’t take effect until the players’ current contracts run out on 1st July.
