With the possible Season 2020-21 start date being pushed back to 28th November, a number of SHFL have decided to stop training and friendly matches until early November. The Vale board and management have discussed the options for October and have decided to continue training once a week and fitting in a number of friendlies which, unfortunately, will continue at the moment to be behind closed doors.
Our latest friendly was on Wednesday at PRP where we played a young Elgin City side. The match ended 2-2 with Robert Scott and Matty Wallace scoring for Deveronvale.
Given that some leagues have put back their possible start dates to November, the organisers of “Donate A Ticket” have kept their website going, recognising that clubs will remain income constrained until such time as fans are allowed back to attend games. The latest SHFL leaderboard shows Deveronvale to be in 7th place with 89 donations totalling £1,710. Once again, we’d like to express our sincere appreciation to those who have donated.
