The Vale's hugely popular annual Golf Day will take place at Duff House Royal Golf Club on Sunday 18th August 2019.
Deveronvale personalities past and present will be in attendance on the day, which includes tea/coffee & bacon rolls on arrival, a stunning 2-course meal and awards presentation. The event format will be Texas Scramble, with teams of 4 made up of ladies, gentlemen and juniors (maximum of 2 juniors per team). For an entry price of £200, your team will be in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes including golf vouchers and matchday hospitality at Princess Royal Park.
Opened in 1909, the original course layout was designed by Archie Simpson and was formally opened with a match between two of the great golfing "triumvirate" - J.H. Taylor (the then Open Champion) and James Braid - with Taylor's score of 75 beating his opponent by 3 strokes. Both men would go on to win The Open no less than 5 times apiece! The course was redesigned in 1924 by Dr. Alistair MacKenzie, who also designed the iconic Augusta National!
We have a number of sponsorship packages available, including individual hole sponsors, goodie bag sponsors and overall event sponsor. For further details please contact the club's Commercial Manager Calum Lawrie.
