Sytec Engineering named as new Vale back of shirt sponsor, in partnership with The ARCHIE Foundation

Sytec Engineering, have today been announced as Deveronvale’s new back of shirt sponsors, on a 3-year deal, starting from the 2019/20 season.

In a unique move and to fit in with their charitable vision, Sytec has partnered with The ARCHIE Foundation, the official charity of Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital. This will see the ARCHIE logo appear on the back of Deveronvale’s new home and away jerseys.

Every year, the work of The ARCHIE Foundation positively impacts the lives of around 200,000 children and their families across the country, funding specialist staff posts, equipment, emergency support and ongoing development training. They provide a huge number of grants to support children when they are sick, making a real difference during hospital treatment or ongoing healthcare issues.

On the new partnership with Deveronvale and The ARCHIE Foundation, Symon Donald of Sytec Engineering said: “Sytec are delighted to be involved in a partnership with The ARCHIE Foundation in sponsoring Deveronvale FC. We are looking forward to working along with ARCHIE & Deveronvale over the next 3 years in promoting a charity that does tremendous work for local sick children.”

Deveronvale’s Commercial Manager, Calum Lawrie, added: “As we start the countdown to the 2019/20 campaign, it is fantastic to welcome Sytec Engineering & The ARCHIE Foundation as commercial partners of the Club. The combination of Sytec with The ARCHIE Foundation, a charity that makes such a crucial difference for local sick children and their families, promises to be a fantastic partnership for the Club and we will be proud to wear ARCHIE’s logo on the back of our shirts. The blend of a commercial and charity partnership is an innovative approach for us but it is one that is in line with our strategy in working closely with the community."

Jamie Smith, Fundraising Manager at The ARCHIE Foundation, commented: “This is an incredible act of generosity from Sytec Engineering. The Highland League is incredibly popular and the increased exposure we will receive on Deveronvale’s shirts can only benefit our charity, in turn helping sick children in hospital and their families. We are absolutely thrilled that Symon and his team at Sytec have chosen ARCHIE – it is greatly appreciated.”

The club would also like to thank SBP Accountants & Tax Advisers, our current back of shirt sponsors, for their support throughout the past three seasons.
