Deveronvale are very pleased to announce that forward Robert Scott has signed a two-year contract extension, which will keep him at the Club until at least the end of Season 2020-21. Robert, 21, joined the Club in March 2017 as part of a swap deal with Buckie Thistle, which also involved Craig Cowie heading to Buckie and Kyle Gauld to PRP.
To date Robert has scored 26 goals for the Club, 1 in Season 2016-17, 12 in Season 2017-18 and 13 so far this season. Manager Steve Dolan said “I am delighted that Robert has signed a contract extension. His goals this season have been extremely important to us, especially following the injury to Dane Ballard. We have 14 SHFL games to go and I’m sure we’ll see Robert add further to his tally. Robert is a young player who only turned 21 earlier this month. He’s done really well for us so far and he’ll continue to improve with more match opportunities and experience”.
