First of June and, believe it or not, the countdown to the new SHFL season is not far away with pre-season training scheduled to start on 18th June. Fixtures for The Breedon Highland League have been issued and we will shortly be announcing our pre-season friendly fixtures dates and times.
The end of May also marked the end of an era when Kenny Christie stood down from the position of Treasurer at the Club. Kenny has been at the Club since season 2007/2008 initially helping in the Sponsors Lounge before being persuaded by Eddie Bruce and Alistair Rennie to take over the book-keeping. Kenny joined the Club’s Board on 18th February 2010 and stepped down from the Board on 23rd April 2018. Kenny was our longest serving director and takes with him a wealth of experience of the Club and of the SHFL.
Kenny, his wife Lorna and daughter Nicole have all been key supporters of the Club over quite a number of years handling a wide variety of tasks with enthusiasm, good spirits and efficiency. Kenny and Lorna will be sorely missed. Nicole continues to provide invaluable support with the Club website and with our commercial activities.
Everyone at Princess Royal Park would like to express their sincere thanks to Kenny and his family for the support and their selfless provision of their time to the Club.
