Married with two children. One who lives about 2 miles away and one 11,500 miles away in Christchurch, New Zealand plus Three grandsons. Lifelong Vale fan and former player. Other interests include rugby union, reading and music.

Simply known to many as Mr Banff. The Club’s Executive Secretary, Stewart has been covering this important role for well over 30 years and is widely recognised as being one of the most knowledgeable and respected Club Secretaries in the Highland League. Stewart is a life member of the SHFL and the ADFA and was also voted into the Deveronvale Hall of Fame in 2019.

Born and educated in Aberdeen. Always been a lover of football and been a Vale fan since season 94/95. Married to fellow Director Neil. Enjoy meeting people, travelling, running and walking, along with live music and theatre.

Linda Montgomery

Commercial Director

Calum joined the Vale as Commercial Director in September 2018 and his duties include attracting new commercial partners to the club and managing the selling of our events, hospitality, sponsorship and advertising packages. In addition to his role with the club, Calum works at Robert Gordon University and also runs his own businesses, Calum Lawrie Piping Promotions and Ceòl Beag Designs.

Calum Lawrie


Born in Banff and attended both Macduff & Banff Primary schools before completing my education at Banff Academy. Left my home town in 1980 to pursue a career in the Hotel & Catering Industry. Currently own & run C&M Kitchen Engineering with my wife and fellow Vale director Linda. Started following the Vale in the mid-seventies and have followed them ever since, through the good and not so good days. Enjoy travelling and golf when I can find the time.
