Chisholm 8 Smith 18 Murray 33 Shearer (OG) 67 Dolan 82
Deveronvale went nap for the second Saturday running with the Marks (Chisholm and Smith) both on the score sheet again, each scoring their fifth goals of the campaign, as Vale jumped to third in the table, just two points off the pace.
Visitors Wick gave a good account of themselves, especially in the opening forty-five minutes, but found their hosts finishing too clinical to handle and were sent home to Caithness with little comfort to take from their impressive first half performance although perhaps on another day may have had at least a goal to show for their efforts.
A minute's silence was held for Vale chairman Robert 'Bingo' Bremner's son, Robert Bremner Junior, who sadly passed away earlier on match day.

Unsurprisingly Vale went into the fixture with the same starting eleven who did the business at Nairn last weekend but were taken aback early on as the visitors kicked off forcing the play from the offset.
Indeed Gary Manson was within inches of connecting with Martin Macgregor's centre six-yards from goal, following a short corner kick.
Jamie Mackenzie was then denied by James Blanchard who threw himself to his left to turn Mackenzie's low shot on the turn around the post.
However the visitors were picking the ball out of their own net in the ninth minute with a textbook Vale counter.
Mike McKenzie picked up the ball at the edge of the Academy penalty box before threading a ball into the path of the in-rushing Steve Dolan.
"Dippy" made his way to the bye-line before curling a delightful ball into the six-yard box, which had just enough purchase on it to beat the outstretched hand of Don Macmillan in the Wick goal and pick out the head of Mark CHISHOLM who gleefully headed into the net from close range.
Dolan and Chisholm combined again moments later but "Chiz's" flick off "Dippy's" low cross crept past the near post before it nestle into the bottom corner.
The "Scories" responded and Nigel Mackenzie headed narrowly over the top following his sides' third corner of the afternoon.
Mike McKenzie tested Don Macmillan with a low drive, which the keeper did well to hold as it seemed to take a slight deflection en route and then Mark Smith rose to reach Ross McWilliam's corner but the ball lost most of its pace as it hit the surface before Macmillan collected on his goal-line.
A speculative deep cross from Mike McKenzie saw Vale grab their second goal of the game when Macmillan chose incorrectly to come for the ball and once he completely missed it he was always in trouble. The ball landing kindly for the unmarked Mark SMITH who headed into the unguarded net at the far post much to the disappointment of the one or two hardy traveling supporters who had made the long trek to Banff for the match.
James Blanchard did very well to keep his side's two-goal lead intact when he spread himself across the width of his goal to save Jamie Mackenzie's angled drive with Kenny Gilbert on hand to complete the clearance as Vale lived slightly dangerously at the back.
Just after the half-hour mark the points were safe for the Banffers when Ian MURRAY steered home a loose ball from 12-yards after Mike McKenzie had sent Ross McWilliam sprinting down the right-wing and his whipped cross had Macmillan at full stretch but the keeper failed to get anything on the ball to turn it away from the waiting "Molby".
Macmillan redeemed himself from his earlier error of judgment when he spread himself to deny Mark Smith scoring his second of the game from close range.
Minutes from the half-time whistle Gary Farquhar came very close to pulling a goal back for the "Scories" with a vicious 30-yard free kick which looked to have Blanchard beat but just failed to nestle in the far corner
Half Time: 3-0
Paul Urquhart replaced the injured Ross McWilliam at the interval as the Banffers kicked off the second period with the strengthening wind at their backs.
The Banffers started to move the ball about well on the slick surface and were very unlucky not to increase their tally when Mike McKenzie's fired cross just eluded the head of Paul Urquhart.
Mark Chisholm was then denied his second brace in as many games when Don Macmillan somehow clawed his close-range header to safety following another superb ball into the middle from Vale talisman Mike McKenzie.
Steve Dolan set-up Paul Urquhart with another opportunity but the substitute was flagged offside as he stopped to head "Dippy's" cross goalwards.
Ian Murray, lurking at the back post, came within a whisker of netting Mike McKenzie's low cross before the homesters finally made it four.
The goal was made by who else but Mike McKenzie when the striker beat the Wick offside trap, made good progress into the eighteen-yard box but as he squared trying to pick out forward partner Ian Murray, the unfortunate Craig SHEARER stretched out a boot to divert the ball into his own net.
.
Steve Dolan and substitute Terry Kidd fired well over from distance and at the other end Danny Craib, who had just replaced Bryan Dlugonski, was forced to clear over his own cross bar as Academy looked for a little consolation from their afternoons work
However, following the visitor's flag kick Vale broke quickly and completed the scoring.
Mark Smith picked up the ball deep inside his own half, opened up his legs and made progress towards the Wick penalty box. The visitors did manage to close down and tackle "Rusty" but only succeeded in setting up Steve DOLAN, who had sprinted from defence to support his team-mate, and "Dippy" capped off a fine individual performance by coolly passing the ball onto the net for his third of the current season.
Terry Kidd was denied by Don Macmillan when he broke clear of the square looking back-four and in the dying seconds Macmillan was again in the right place to stop Paul Urquhart making it six when he saved with his legs from close range.
Mark Chisholm was voted the sponsor's man-of-the-match to complete a good afternoon for the home side.
